How this leaderboard works
Every position is an auction: Shopify apps bid real money, starting at 5 €, and the highest bid takes first place. No jury, no sponsored reviews — the leaderboard moves the second someone bids more. Clicks sent to each site are counted and public. The full rules.
The apps outside the boxes
The App Store counts thousands of apps and not all fit a box: B2B management, store protection, invoicing, pre-orders, donations… This page hosts them under the same conditions as the others — a real bid, public numbers, zero affiliation.
The selection criteria remain those of any Shopify app: recent reviews, theme speed impact, support quality and clean uninstall. The specialised sub-categories of the leaderboard are linked from this page.
What to compare
For an unclassifiable app, judge on the real problem solved: quantify the time or revenue at stake, compare against the app's price, and test during the free trial — support included. Check uninstall behaviour before installing, not after.

Why isn't this app in a specialised category?
Each maker picks its categories by bidding (3 maximum per actor). The ones listed here chose the general category — often because the app matches no existing sub-category.
How do I list my app in a precise sub-category?
From the homepage, take a spot and pick the matching sub-category (upsell, reviews, email…). A bid from 5 € is enough, and you can be present in up to 3 categories.
